The Challenge

Water in crude oil is the most common quality issue in petroleum production. It reduces the saleable value of crude, accelerates pipeline corrosion, and complicates downstream processing. Accurate, continuous measurement is essential at every stage — from wellhead to export terminal.

The ZT-100 Water Cut Analyzer provides continuous, inline measurement of water content in crude oil pipelines. Capacitance-based sensing delivers accurate readings across a wide range of water cuts — from trace levels at custody transfer points to high water content during production upsets.

Available in spool-piece (F-Series) and insertion probe (S-Series, I-Series) configurations, the ZT-100 fits pipes from 1″ to 48″ and handles pressures up to ANSI 1500#. ATEX and IECEx certification ensures safe installation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas.

Standard 4–20mA, HART, and Modbus RTU outputs integrate directly with existing DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems — no gateway or protocol converter required.
